Jaeyeon Kim is a computational designer based in Seoul, Korea. Interested in web interaction, generative design, typographic design. Majored visual communication design at Hongik University. Works at min guhong manufacturing as an intern. Also works with Reum Lee, as a member of a gridroom, which is a visual art project group. Recently, Made some presentations for classes. Takes class, New Order in Hongik University Visual Communication Design as a TA, making webs and solving qna to students. Made a website for p5 experiments in Socio cultural design project (2). Designed a poster and graphic artwork for graduate exhibition on Hongik University Ceramic and Glass major. Finised working on HIVCD Newsletter with the last issue of September 2022. gridroom’s 1st exhibition THHA v1 has been operated in faction, at 2022.7.30-8.7. Took a class, New Order and learned how to love myself and love my webs. KIM JAE YEON is... I was born in Seoul on July 13, 1999. I dreamed of becoming a scientist because I like chemistry. A science student who chose chemistry and physics... Once a science dreamer... I suddenly wanted to study design... After a year of college entrance exams, I entered Hongik University, majoring in visual design. I learned typography and graphic design. I made a few posters... I like carrots. It may be because of the memory of loving carrot tomato juice that my mother bought me as a child. In addition, there are many people who hate carrots, so I want to keep recommending them out of repulsion. I like cooking. I often enjoy inviting guests to my house and cooking. I like music. I've been paying attention to Vinyl since I got the LP player as a gift. I haven't collected a lot yet, but I imagine one day I'll fill the wall. I prepared a space to listen to and write my favorite songs. I used to grow out my hair for no big reason. I played drums in a band. I played basketball. I had a rather active period... Born in July 1999 and 24 years old as of 2022. I liked chemistry since I was young, so I wanted to pursue a career in science and engineering, but I became interested in visual design in high school with the editing design of science newspapers (1). After thinking about it, I changed my career and entered Hongik University after going through an art college entrance exam. While studying visual design at Hongik University, I ran a student council (2) and ran a coding small group (3). I participated in frequent online exhibitions (4) in the department and created several webs. Often participated in offline exhibitions (flow of consciousness 展 5), "Infection and Immunity" (6). Under the guidance of Professor Seok Jae-won, I worked in charge of producing the school newsletter "Hongik CD Newsletter" (7) (design, coding, operation, and contact). Currently, I continue to take a leave of absence from school and work on outsourcing. I started working as a two-person graphic design team called gridroom on April 25, 2022 with designer Lee Min-ji, who maintains a close relationship. He likes to wear black clothes and listen to music by his favorite artists (8) and participated in the drum session (I worked more on design and video than playing) in the school art band Trident (9). I like to cook for my acquaintances, and recently, after lamenting the reality that it is difficult to buy Pokemon bread, I tried baking chocolate rolls myself. The shape of the result was somewhat far from the chocolate roll, but I heard that the taste was quite good. KIM JAE YEON's favorite music artists I gather my favorite music artists. I am majoring in visual design at Hongik University and I am continuing to study computerized design and design fiction based on my interest in new media technology. I work on the web as the main medium and also work as an intern at Min Gu-hong Manufacturing. It has produced several webs inside and outside the department (the 21st graduation exhibition of Hongik University's visual design department, the 31st Wow Film Festival), and planned, designed, developed, and published the official newsletter of the department, "Hongik CD Newsletter". We ran a two-person project group, grid room, along with the designer's name, and recently, we held an exhibition "THHA v1" inspired by CAPTCHA based on our interest in humanity at the exhibition space action.
